1. Objective and Purpose of the Refund Policy
This Refund Policy establishes a formal framework governing the receipt, management, and treatment of all financial contributions including registration, tuition, event fees, and donations made to Shiksharatan India Foundation.
1.1 Ensure Transparency and Consistency
The policy provides a standardized process to ensure payments are traceable and documented, promoting financial integrity.
1.2 Set Clear Expectations
This policy serves as a pre-payment disclosure to define the Foundation’s no-refund stance clearly.
1.3 Prevent Ambiguity
The policy safeguards against arbitrary refund requests and ensures responsible financial planning.
1.4 Mitigate Disputes
The policy aims to reduce financial disputes through clear, predefined refund conditions.
2. Policy Applicability
This policy applies to:
- Academic and non-academic programs
- Skill development and certification courses
- Workshops, conferences, seminars
- Awareness campaigns, sponsored initiatives
- All online or in-person initiatives
3. General Declaration
NON-REFUNDABLE CLAUSE: “All payments made to Shiksharatan India Foundation are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances unless explicitly authorized in writing by the Governing Body.”

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
- Voluntary withdrawal after payment
- Absenteeism after registration
- Ineligibility or failure to meet requirements
- Dissatisfaction with content or trainer
- Medical/personal/financial emergencies
- Schedule changes or postponements
- User-side technical failures
- Visa, travel, or relocation issues
- Third-party disputes
- Regulatory/legal changes
Note: No refund will be given for partial use or incomplete attendance.
6. Limited Exception Clause
6.1 Program Cancellation by Foundation
- Full refund (minus gateway/processing charges)
- Or credit note for future participation (within 12 months)
Note: Not applicable if rescheduled or relocated.
6.2 Duplicate or Excess Payment
Refund subject to verification and written request within 7 business days.
- Provide transaction proof (screenshot, receipt, UTR)
- Processed within 21 business days
- If refund is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
- Deduction of admin/payment charges
- No cash refund will be provided
6.3 No Obligation Beyond Conditions
No refund shall be granted outside the two above exceptions.
6.4 Finality of Decision
Refund decisions by the Executive Director or Governing Board are final and binding.
7. Unauthorized Disputes & Chargebacks
- Access suspension to all programs
- Legal recovery action
- Blacklisting of user/entity
- Fraud reporting to national education watchdogs (if applicable)
8. Force Majeure
- Natural disasters (e.g., flood, earthquake)
- War, terrorism, instability
- Policy changes, judicial orders
- Cyberattacks or infrastructure failure
- Utility failures
9. Participant Responsibilities
- Review all program documents & schedules
- Make payments only via official channels
- Retain receipts and email confirmations
- Accept consents and declarations
- Avoid impersonation or misrepresentation
10. Legal Framework
- Subject to laws of Republic of India
- Jurisdiction: Courts of Gurugram, Haryana
- Foundation retains right to amend this policy
- Latest web-published version is binding
11. Declaration and Consent by Participant
“I, the undersigned, hereby declare that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the Refund Policy of Shiksharatan India Foundation. I acknowledge that all payments made are non-refundable under any circumstance and waive any right to challenge this in any forum.”
